Little Josie was only fourteen years old,
When she figured out that this world is so cold,
Her life was a ball of lies and confusion,
And everything good was just an illusion.
Her happiness was walking up a hill,
Then she met a boy and from there it was ill.
He called her pretty and said he loves her,
Would do anything in the world for her.
She thought she knew the ending to this perfect story,
They would both fall in love and live in perfect glory.
But Ryan had a different plan,
He needed to prove to his friends he was a man.
It was a late Wednesday night when his plan followed through,
They did the deed and now she was stuck like glue.
Too bad he wanted nothing to do with this poor girl,
So he kicked her out and left her there like she was a washed up pearl,
Little Josie was only fourteen years old,
When she figured out that this world is so cold,
Her life was a ball of lies and confusion,
And everything good was just an illusion.
Three months past and she was over her heart break,
Until Ryan shared a secret that she could not take.
During their first night of love and affection,
There was no sort of protection.
Everything started to add together,
The weight gain, the mood swings, and the pressure.
The mistake she made drove her heart to beat through her chest,
Her life and maybe one more was left up to a test.
Too scared to know the results,
Horrified to see that white stick exult,
Every bone in her body was praying for it to be fine,
But, unfortunately there was more than one line.
Lost, lonely, and lamentable,
Little Josie kept thinking on how this could have been preventable.
Terrified to see her parents react,
The horrible dream she never wanted live, is now a fact.
Little Josie was only fourteen years old,
When she figured out that this world is so cold,
Her life was a ball of lies and confusion,
And everything good was just an illusion.
Sweat dripping down as she paces,
She cannot help but see the worried look on their faces.
As she reveals the horrible news their emotions turn into disgust,
Little Josie’s parents have no more trust.
She tells Ryan and there was much aggravation,
Having a baby leads to more frustration.
He tries to persuade her into the unthinkable,
But, little Josie soon realizes this idea is understandable.
A baby and Josie was no match,
So she decided her unborn child could not have the chance to attach.
Hopeful, horrified, then hopeless,
Lying on that table made her speechless.
Slurp! The only thing she hears while paralyzed in that room,
Little Josie knows her life is headed for great doom.
Her parents and Ryan could not be more content,
But, all she could feel is a world of torment.
Little Josie was only fourteen years old,
When she figured out that this world is so cold,
Her life was a ball of lies and confusion,
And everything good was just an illusion.
Her life went on and continued as if nothing happened,
But behind her fake smile is a girl who is blackened.
She made a mistake and blames it on her,
Some call it abortion, she calls it murder.
