Basketball never sleeps
Balls go “BOING” back off of backboards
Shots seamlessly swish through the shiny net
Crowds courageously cheer there team on
The shot clock secretly ticks on and on
Beads of sweat swivel and swerve down faces
Nervousness nearly never is gone
Feet frantically step forward
College scouts carefully consult coaches
Winners willfully walk with confidence
Losers lethargically linger to the locker room
Coaches criticize and teach children
Practice is for perfection and perseverance
Rims rattle and react to rapid rebounds
Jumping out of the gym
Athletes with avid agility
Precise passes are not predicted by opposing players
Assist are accurate passes that are associated with a score
Frequently finish good passes, and you’ll find yourself with a fine amount of points
Street ball is strangely different from standard games
Ball hogs are bad for basketball
Not passing is not purposeful to playing ball
The Bench builds energy by being a part of the game
Blocking shots boosts basically the whole bench and team
Home games however have to be won
Away games you can’t let anyone in the crowd aggravate or agitate you
You could be tempted to force turnovers
In basketball everyone gets beat, blocked and benched
Decision making is demanded more than doing whatever you want
Playing smart is significantly more sound for games then playing savage
Getting championships is challenging
Making a basket is like successfully and skillfully achieving your set goals
These things go on every second of a basketball game
Is it fate that people play this game?
Or do people just randomly pick up a ball?
Either way could work
Basketball never ends
Basketball never sleeps
