Love and Life Pains

Boom! Boom! Boom!
My heart began to race
My body, heart, and mind all frozen in place
She came and left her mark without a trace
I knew her love I must get without a hace
This feeling I could never dream to face
But
Her heart belongs to another

Deep in my mind this began to plunder
Day and night all I do is wonder
A love so strong that could overcome the mightiest thunder
To me this was a new and amazing wonder
For me, opening my eyes to a new world

Her eyes could move a mountain
Her smile makes the stormiest days bright
Her beauty is skin deep going beyond face and body features

She is as brave as a lion
Gentle like a blue jay
She had the spirit of a bird flying high above the clouds
Fierce like a Tasmanian devil
Her beauty goes beyond explanation
However
Her heart belongs to another

Thoughts of her always on my mind
As all my memories untwined
Knowing that her beauty is rare to find
This for any man would be one of a kind
Just the thought of her could make a life time
Of
Pains fade away like written words in the sand on a beach
But
Her heart belongs to another

Her pain brought tears to her face
So my heart filled with pain
She cried her nights away
I wish I could sooth her pain
Life dealt her a hand she could not take
So I went to him to beg for a trade
He said
“No, so this deal could not be made!”
So I made this to remind her of her beauty
And
To take her pain away
So dry your tears and remember what I say
As long as you have me tomorrow will be a more beautiful day
So
Was us meeting fate or chance?
On that day my heart began to dance
For me this was a one in a life time chance
But
Now seeing you in this way
I know this is fate
But the truth is I am here for you
And
I am here to stay
